Job Description
Anesthesiologist Opportunity North of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
A private practice anesthesia group located conveniently north of Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join their team. This position offers a diverse and rewarding caseload including orthopedics general surgery urology thoracic vascular basic neuro OB and limited pediatric cases. Call duties occur every 4th night providing ample opportunities for worklife balance. CRNAs are supervised in the operating room.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive regional salary package ranging from $475000 to $500000 annually

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Participate in an oncall rotation from home responding to urgent and emergency cases as needed
- Provide postanesthesia care and followup to ensure patient recovery
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Culture:
The practice offers a supportive and collaborative work environment with a team of three Anesthesiologists and eleven CRNAs. The majority of the caseload is outpatient contributing to a dynamic and fastpaced atmosphere. Postcall days off and limited callbacks to the hospital ensure ample personal and family time. Weekend oncall cases are exclusive to urgent and emergency circumstances ensuring a balanced lifestyle for team members.
