Job Description
This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days onsite at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other nonBest Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What youll do
- Compile and prepare data used for renewal submissions
- Coordinate timely receipt of all policy documentation and manage payment of premiums and taxes
- Develop and maintain database of insurance schedules and policy detail
- Schedule weekly office hours to review and consult with Procurement and Legal teams on insurance provisions
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of state premiums and assessments
- Partner with internal customers to manage Best Buys surety program
Basic qualifications
- 3 years of corporate risk management experience or with an insurance broker or carrier.
- Foundational knowledge of property and casualty insurance principles
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to deal with individuals at multiple levels within the organization
Preferred qualifications
- Industry designations (ARM CPCU)
