The Process Engineer is an established performer that is responsible for designing implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of highquality products. This role involves analyzing current processes identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance productivity reduce waste and improve overall operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
Design and develop manufacturing processes workflows and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
Identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and areas for improvement in existing processes.
Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Participate on product and new process development teams making recommendations of manufacturing feasibility and evaluating expenditures.
Recommend manufacturing concepts while developing and implementing suitable manufacturing processes.
Assist with identifying equipment allocations and unique tooling required for new product implementation.
Responsible for implementing and coordinating revisions and improvements to tooling according to customer or product specifications.
Collaborate closely with Engineering Production and Maintenance teams to implement process changes and improvements.
Provide technical support and guidance to other teams as needed. Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
Perform accurate analyses conduct research and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work area impacts.
Effectively apply functional process and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.
Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelors degree in a related field.
24 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
SixSigma and/or Lean certifications are desirable
Competencies:
Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical process and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
Excellent communication problem solving and organizational skills.
Able to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products
Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
Bending crouching and stooping may be required.
Must be able to work in nonclimatecontrolled facilities.
The work environment may be a noisy high traffic manufacturing production floor.
May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts weekends and holidays.
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
