Job Description
What does an Assistant Residential Director do
The Assistant Residential Director oversees residence managers and other direct support staff ensuring smooth daytoday operations and compliance with all relevant regulations. This includes overseeing budgetary compliance and scheduling for staff within their region. While attention to individual needs is paramount a key focus is providing administrative direction to staff. Under the guidance of the Residential Director and the Associate Executive Director the Assistant Residential Director is a resource to managers and direct support staff providing necessary materials ideas and information.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelors degree is preferred.
- At least two years experience working with people who have developmental disabilities in a residential setting is required.
- Previous management experience is required.
- A valid NYS drivers license is required.
