Part of the Galeries Lafayette group and from its origins as a wool mill La Redoute has evolved into a heritage French brand maintaining unique connections with its customers for over 180 years initially through its catalogues and now digital. We specialise in designing furniture and home decor but also offer a range of fashion items to bring the French lifestyle to customer homes.
In the context of its strong growth La Redoute Hub Northern Europe is looking for its Head of communication and social media reporting directly to our CEO. The scope of the Hub is Belgium the Netherlands Germany but also international development.
Our main mission is to guarantee the brands visibility image and influence across all touchpoints. You will build and lead a bold cohesive and engaging communication strategy that amplifies our brand with all audiences customers media partners both online and offline.
You manage a team of 2 people made up of a community manager and a content lead.
Key Responsibilities working closely with global and local teams:
1. Communication Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 360 communication plan (Commercial brand social media PR corporate and internal).
- Orchestrate and ensure the relevance and consistency of the commercial plans of the different countries.
- Guaranteeing the impact relevance and performance of content. Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels.
- Build Track performance KPIs and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- Build and Manage your owned budget and optimize investment.
2. Social Media & Content
- Lead the local social media organic strategy (editorial line calendar content production community engagement).
- Drive brand awareness and community and audience engagement across key platforms (Instagramyou tube pinterest TikTok etc.
- Manage internal teams or external partners (community managers content creators).
- Track performance KPIs and optimize campaigns accordingly.
3. Press Relations & Influence
- Define and execute the local PR strategy.
- Build strong relationships with journalists and key media outlets.
- Manage press releases speaking opportunities interviews.
- Identify and activate influencers aligned with the brand DNA.
4. Events & Brand Activations
- Design and deliver highimpact events (launches popups trade shows press events customer activations).
- Build relevant brand collaborations and partnerships.
- Maximize brand visibility through cultural or seasonal highlights.
5. Brand & Image
- Act as the guardian of the brand identity & DNA defined by the global team voice tone visuals values.
- Ensure coherence between online and offline presence.
Whats expected from you:
- 5 years of experience in communication social media or brand preferably in ecommerce lifestyle or digitalnative environments.
- Deep understanding of digital culture and strong storytelling skills.
- Proven track record in 360 campaigns events PR and activations.
- Creative thinker with strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficient with social media tools analytics and digital trends.
- Fluent in English.
