About the Aurecon Water team

Were looking for an experienced Technical Director/Technical Leader to join our business and contribute in the following areas:
- Leading reviewing and verifying engineering designs for multidisciplinary water and wastewater infrastructure projects (pipelines pump stations treatment plant upgrades etc..
- Undertake hydraulic calculations/analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure including treatment plants and pump stations. Experience with WaterGems and Hammer preferred
- Develop network models
- Facilitating/participating in risk management processes including HAZOP workshops SiD workshops risk workshops etc.
- Understanding of constructability operations and maintenance requirements for water infrastructure
- Knowledge and ability to apply relevant industry standards (WSA AS etc.
Desired skills and experience
- Good communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships both internally and with clients
- Engineering design experience across whole project lifecycle including options development detailed design owners engineer and commissioning.
- Experience in both small and large projects preferred
- Degree or qualification in civil or mechanical engineering
- Chartered Engineer or willingness to become chartered
- Experience working in the water industry preferably 10 years
