The property holds a quiet confidence and commitment to a reduction of excess with interiors that thoughtfully utilize native materials from Aspen and the wider Western region accentuated with natural woods earthen ceramics and handdyed textiles. MOLLIEs lobby fosters an inviting atmosphere for visitors and locals alike where the eclectic mix of differing personas is celebrated and upheld.


Job Description:

We are looking for an exceptionally organized and handy individual to join our team as an Engineer. As part of your responsibilities you will be tasked for the daytoday operations of the engineering department.

Pay Rate: $27$31/hour DOE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs maintenance work at the hotel. This will include maintenance of equipment refrigeration HVAC plumbing electrical systems and dry wall repair.
  • Look for maintenance projects throughout scheduled shifts and complete them without assistance when possible. Replace all lights in hallways stairs and sidewalks as needed.
  • Perform and document preventative maintenance program according to Hotel standards. Knowledge of OSHA standards and application. Practice Safety Standards at all times.
  • Maintain checklists as assigned to ensure property inspections are timely accurate and thorough.
  • Provide quick and professional service to all room calls particularly when the guest is present.
  • Proactively perform daily weekly monthly and annual guest room and mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Check sump pumps in the laundry room to ensure they are working properly.
  • Water hotel flowerbeds and pots during the summer season as necessary.
  • Maintain/repair all fireplaces in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ensure the snow melt boiler is working properly.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to interact with guests and fellow team members.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or high school equivalent preferred.
  • Previous engineering experience required
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred.
