We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Software Engineerto lead the design development testing deployment and maintenance of software applications and services. This role requires strong technical expertise leadership skills and a commitment to delivering highquality solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer you will mentor junior engineers manage projects and contribute to technical decisions while collaborating across teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development and Delivery:
Lead the endtoend delivery process including design coding testing deployment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Focus on automation to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Collaborative Development:
Gather and review software requirements/user stories provide estimates and create design specifications.
Collaborate with engineers architects and stakeholders to test hardware/software interactions and validate test environments.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Design and execute automated test plans strategies and validation processes.
Conduct unit testing dynamic application security testing interface testing integration testing endtoend testing and user acceptance testing.
Leadership and Mentorship:
Lead projects delegate tasks and mentor junior engineers.
Inspire and motivate team members while fostering collaboration across crossfunctional teams.
ProblemSolving and Support:
Identify and resolve complex technical issues including configuration and environment challenges.
Support production applications and ensure high availability and reliability.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field preferred.
Experience:
35 years of software development experience including leading teams and projects.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g. Java Python JavaScript C).
Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile Scrum).
Experience with coding standards code reviews and source control management.
Expertise in database design and management including SQL/NoSQL technologies (e.g. SQL Server MySQL).
Knowledge of testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Experience with UI toolkits frameworks and DevOps tools/practices.
Ability to transform requirements into design concepts and entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).
Soft Skills:
Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Ability to work independently and within teams.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
Our Senior Software Engineering earns between $USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
