Job Summary:
Leads one or more consulting engagement modules to understand analyze develop and recommend Strategy & Planning (S&P) solutions.
What You Will Do:
Leads analyses and solution development for key S&P engagements. Performs more complex activities.
Works closely with business units to define business problem and develops approach to resolve.
Oversees performance of S&P engagement data collection research and reporting activities and staff.
Provides recommended S&P solutions. Works with senior managers to develop and deliver stakeholder presentations.
Education Requirement:

When leading project prepares proposals and presentations.

Reviews others writing or presentations and provides feedback and coaching.
Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience.
Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need or defending a position.
Communicates well downward upward and outward.
Employs appropriate methods of persuasion when soliciting agreement.
Maintains focus on the topic at hand.
Strategic Thinking:
Understands the groups gotomarket strategy.

Oversees business operations and resource allocation with strategic objectives and the drivers of shareholder and stakeholder value.
Reviews professional values and ethical judgment in all aspects of work.
Oversees key engagement reviews to assure stakeholder satisfaction.
Consulting Process & Tools:
Effectively manages projects ensuring objectives and deadlines are met by team members.
Works with the business to determine handover process to ensure appropriate transfer completed.
Selects and uses appropriate diagnostic tools methods and techniques and actively seeks out new and appropriate tools.
Identifies quantifies and manages issues impacting on project delivery.
Additional Information
The location for this position is Peoria IL. Alternate Caterpillar locations will be considered for well qualified candidates.
Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.
This position may require up to 10 travel.
