THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

SERS seeks to fill a Human Resource Assistant 1 position in Harrisburg to provide vital support for the Human Resource Office. Key responsibilities of this position include timekeeping the coordination of agency employee performance review processes Official Personnel File (OPF) maintenance activities and a wide variety of general office support and customer service activities.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail possess superior organizational skills be capable of switching between multiple tasks provide exceptional customer service and enjoy resolving problems. Timekeeping experience is a plus!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Fulltime employment 37.5hour week Monday through Friday.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 60minute lunch.
  • Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home parttime (hybrid telework schedule) up to two days per week depending on operational needs and progress in learning assigned tasks. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you must work onsite at the work location specified in this job posting.
