Job Description

UX Lead I
The Design Director sets the vision for the best user experience. You will create a space for crossfunctional partners to collaborate effectively. You will use your knowledge of and experience in the Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams facilitate conversations create concepts run design sprints and build rapid prototypes to test and learn from users and inform prioritization and impact. While working with partners to determine a shared plan forward that balances business user and technology considerations you will create and champion an experience that is highly engaging and usable and deliver pixelperfect detailed design with your team.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead a team of designers that partner with research content strategy data science legal and compliance product management and engineering teams to establish modern best practices for endtoend experience design and delivery such as design research journey mapping personas storyboards concept designs prototyping and final production designs for our end user experiences.
  • Express yourself as a considerate thinker that sees the big picture while understanding the business objectives weaving viability desirability and viability into our design decisions.
  • Drive the experience with an outcomes focus actively scanning the endtoend experience for new approaches blending different ideas to challenge the teams with creative yet effective solutions.

Additional Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead craft design and delivery on endtoend journeys collaborating and partnering with design research product management and development to support and advocate for modern best practices for endtoend experience design and delivery such as design research journey mapping personas storyboards concept designs prototyping and final production designs for our end user experiences.

  • Support design team to elevate design awareness and implementation of modern design methods and best practices to help the team to deliver the highest quality experiences.

  • Ensure that the endtoend experience journey designs meet the needs of the end user and inform and align with client & business challenges/goals.

  • Support Digital & Customer Experience Transformation team to implement end to end experience processes and influence adoption of customer centric solutions and a culture of experimentation across the team.

  • Collaborate closely with Research Brand Marketing Data & Analytics Technology Digital and Product Lines of Business to define and execute our end user experiences and set the bar for quality for your journey team leading the design and of the end user experience design to drive scale and growth by maximizing the end users engagement and loyalty across all digital channels.

  • Lead and collaborate with a team of designers and design leads. You will collaborate with the digital product and technology organizations to support the endtoend vision and strategic roadmap producing validated design concepts and stories that establish a bestinclass experience for our end users. You will collaborate with and support the team around our experience strategy goals.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • 7 years of UX design and/or design management experience

  • Strong and demonstrated background in: enterprise experience design; consumer product design; mobile platform design in an agile delivery model

  • Strong and demonstrated background in: Figma Sketch InVision and Miro

  • Eager to be innovative and possess a strong test and learn mentality

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $110300/yr. $188300/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience time in role base salary of internal peers prior performance business sector and geographic location. In addition to base salary the competitive compensation package may include depending on the role participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example annual discretionary incentive programs nonannual sales incentive plans or other nonannual incentive plans).
