We are looking for a selfstarting motivated person who excels at building relationships enjoys sales marketing and providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will have skills in marketing management budgeting event planning sales fundraising customer service and are comfortable with public speaking and interacting with diverse audiences. a Scouting background is NOT required for the position.
Compensation & Benefits:

- Base Salary $56496
- Auto Allowance $3600 $300 a month plus .15c a mile)

Responsibilities:
The position serves as the manager of a designated area called a district that serves Larimer and Jackson counties along with a small portion of Weld County. Scouting is sustained and successful through your ability to recruit promote supervise and work with local volunteers in achieving growth in our youth participation and surpassing fundraising objectives.
In this position you will:
- Work with a volunteer board of directors and other community and business leaders to identify recruit train guide and inspire them to become involved.
- Achieve specific goals and objectives which include: Growing and retaining youth membership; Starting new Scouting units; Fundraising; Program development through collaborative relationships; and Volunteer recruitment.
- Be a good role model and recognize the importance of working relationships with other professionals and volunteers.
- Provide quality service through timely communication regular meetings training events and activities.

- Nonprofit fundraising sales or marketing experience is a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to accept and meet Scouting Americas leadership and membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law.
- Candidates must live in or near the counties served by the position.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
- Have a willingness and ability to work varied hours when necessary. Evening activities and weekend work is often required to achieve positive objectives.
- Ability to travel for a weeklong training at least once a year and attend multiple conferences each year.
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Work Outlook and Excel.
