The Process Dev Engineering Scientific Associate will be part of a team that will support cell therapy cell culture media development including media preparation and testing as well as protocol transfer. This role will contribute to the exploration and establishment of novel technologies to support cell therapy scaleup and optimization.
Monday Friday Shift
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform cell culture media preparation powder reconstitution/filtration and routine testing.
- Take routine analytical measurements for cell growth pH osmolality nutrient and metabolite measurements.
- Draft media preparation protocol and record data support protocol transfer.
- Perform pluripotent stem cell culture expansion and differentiation in benchscale bioreactors and support media development studies.
- Supporting the team in the setup operation and associated analysis of mammalian cell culture and bioreactor processes
- Effectively collaborates with a fully integrated team to facilitate the success of projects.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline with 03 years of experience. Masters degree with 01 years of experience.
- Process development experience in a biopharmaceutical setting working with interdisciplinary and crosscultural teams.
- Experience in aseptic processing and expanded conceptual knowledge and understanding of principles of Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS).
- Experience with bioreactor systems and human stem cell culture is a big plus preferred human pluripotent stem cell.
- Ability to effectively communicate findings progress and problems.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to details.
Contract Length: 24 month.
Pay Range
$32/hr. $35/hr.
