Job Purpose

This roles primary responsibility is handling documentation tasks and coordinating with DGVCL/GETCO. The job purpose of an Electrical Executive (Solar Power Plant) is to oversee and manage all electrical aspects of a solar power plants operations. This includes ensuring the efficient functioning of the plants electrical systems equipment and components. The Electrical Executive is also responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues implementing preventive maintenance programs and optimising the performance of electrical systems to maximise energy production. Additionally they may supervise electrical staff coordinate with external contractors and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Job Duties

  • Assist in documentation including data entry filing and record maintenance.
  • Coordinate with DGVCL/GETCO for various tasks such as obtaining approvals submitting documents and resolving queries.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders providing updates and seeking necessary information.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline documentation workflows which improves efficiency.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and guidelines related to documentation and compliance.
  • Support other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors.
  • Will be required to go in routine to DGVCL offices in and around the site for paperwork.
  • Should possess a professional appearance and excellent communication skills to interact with officers effectively.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering.

Knowledge

  • Proficiency in working with eleven KVA transmission lines.
  • Familiarity with VCB panels HT LT panels transformers and related equipment.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems solar panels inverters and other components of solar power generation systems.
  • Proficiency in Electrical engineering principles and concepts including circuit design power electronics and electrical distribution systems.
