This an exciting opportunity for a growing restaurant group who has partnered with Reef led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City Utah an internationally renowned ski destination. This Pastry Sous Chef position will work under the Pastry Chef for the development of the pastry department during opening and continued operations of two new concepts: a 100 seat brasserie and bar and a French pastry & coffee shop. There is extensive room for growth with future phases including a boutique hotel a luxury residential development the Marcella Club at the new Mayflower ski resort and a Tiger Woods designed golf course.
Position Overview:
Under the supervision of our pastry chef and executive chef the pastry department is responsible for the production of desserts breads pastries ice creams etc. for our outlets including Le Depot Brasserie and Union Patisserie. During service pastry members will work with the garde manager to cook and plate appetizers and desserts.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a great team player as well as possessing the ability to complete their individual tasks in a timely manner. We value hardworking team members that show an innate attention to detail strong communication skills and willingness to learn. Ideal candidates have relevant restaurant and/ or bakery experience. Experience and knowledge of French cuisine is a plus.
Work Experience: 1 years of restaurant experience is desired
Education: Degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
