Working within the Industrial Quality Solutions (IQS) department at ZEISS we are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer specialized in Qt Framework.
What youll be doing
Join our agile development team dedicated to the development of ZEISS Inspect software. In this role you will play a crucial part in enhancing our software capabilities while ensuring a seamless user experience.
You will collaborate closely with UX Designers to translate user requirements into functional software features ensuring an intuitive and efficient user experience.
Together with other C Software Engineers you will design develop optimize existing and maintain features for ZEISS Inspect using the Qt framework and C.

Location: Gdynia (Poland) Carl Zeiss IQS Software R&D Center Sp. z o.o.
Work model: Hybrid: 2 days remote 3 days in the office
What we expect from you
You have a university degree in in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
3 years of experience in C development with a strong focus on Qt framework
Solid understanding of objectoriented programming and design patterns
Solid understanding of software development principles Clean Code guidelines and best practices
Solid understanding of UI design principles
Experience in desktop application development
Strong problemsolving skills attention to detail and keeping the goal of a userfriendly software solution in mind
Strong ability to document processes and work results.
Good to very good knowledge of English language in speech and writing
Additional advantage will be
Understanding of UX design principles and good practices
Experience in industrial or scientific software development
High communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Basic metrology knowledge
