Job Description
Become our client s Procurement Assistant and support global procurement operations by managing purchase orders reconciling invoices sourcing suppliers and driving process improvements. You ll collaborate across teams maintain vendor records and contribute to inventory management while ensuring seamless procurement workflows. Your Daily Tasks
- Administer and review purchase order requests.
- Provide sourcing support for procurement needs.
- Create and maintain purchase orders in Pronto (ERP system).
- Assist in implementing the Formstack tool into the purchase order process.
- Manage daily approval queues in Redmap (stock and nonstock) and investigate invoice variances.
- Prepare order expediting reports to track open and backordered items.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to receipt orders in Pronto and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Clear GRNI balances in Pronto by reconciling invoices in Redmap and following up with suppliers for missing invoices.
- Manage the ANSI inventory forms database and assist with its creation in Pronto.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and vendor data.
- Perform periodic pricing reviews for inventory items.
- Generate weekly reports on supplier usage purchase orders supplier terms and spending forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inquiries related to services projectbased orders and invoices.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and procurement process improvements.
- Support the Accounts Payable team by processing exceptions and coding invoices in Pronto.
- Assist with monthend reconciliations of GRNI accruals aging and procurement reporting.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement administration role.
- Experience working within Australian procurement processes and standards.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Familiarity with Pronto and/or Redmap software is highly preferred.
- Experience using Formstack is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with a structured detailoriented work style.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively.
