Job Description
Position Overview
We are hiring a dynamic Project Manager to lead diverse projects from custom software and IT infrastructure to engineering and construction works. This role demands proactive planning strong coordination and a commitment to delivering quality results aligned with our core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage endtoend project life cycles across ICT and Engineering projects
- Develop detailed project plans schedules resource allocation and budgets
- Liaise with clients to gather requirements provide updates and ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate crossfunctional teams including software developers IT engineers and field technicians
- Monitor project progress using tools and methodologies (Agile Waterfall or hybrid approaches)
- Manage risks issues and changes throughout project delivery
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and business objectives
- Prepare regular project reports for stakeholders and executive leadership
- Uphold the BGS Principles in every client and team interaction
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in project management preferably across IT and engineering sectors
- PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification (required)
- Proven experience managing complex projects with crossfunctional teams
- Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure software solutions and civil/electrical engineering projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement problemsolving and leadership skills
- Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project Trello Jira)
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and ICT service delivery in Nigeria
- Experience in datacentre setup infrastructure deployment or esolutions deployments
- Knowledge of procurement and vendor management
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
