Job Description

Newport School District is seeking a dynamic and studentcentered Middle School Math/Science Teacherto provide instruction for our summer program July 7August 1 2025. This role focuses on helping students in grades 68 recover competencies in mathematics and science through targeted instruction personalized learning and handson :Plan and deliver standardsaligned instruction in middle school math and/or science to students requiring competency student progress and adjust instruction to support individual learning with the summer program team to track student participation and a supportive engaging and structured learning timely feedback to students and maintain communication with program coordinators and families as accurate attendance and progress data for reporting and :Valid NH Teaching Certification in Middle School Math and/or Science (or equivalent in other states).Experience working with middle school students in a differentiated or competencybased learning instructional and classroom management to motivate and support students in a shortterm accelerated learning with digital tools and platforms for assessment and instruction is a plus.
