Job Description
Manage and lead districts procurement and pricing efforts for transportation services with specific focus on Ocean and Air services. Ensure that customers crossfunctional and geographical pricing requirements are proactively identified and serviced. Support the revenue growth efforts for the branch through timely proactive market leading pricing solutions for our clients and through of a strategic procurement of service provider services by leveraging global relationships your industry knowledge and Expeditors product geo and service leadership. Support in delivering world class business reviews to our services providers based on partnership and winwin approach. Drive alignment and cocollaboration efforts between products and offices as related to pricing solutions. Work with relevant stakeholders in product & geo management to create valueadd solutions that are timely and relevant to the customers current and future needs. Increases Expeditors revenues and profitability through providing enhanced valuedadded service.
SCOPE OF POSITION
To create a unique Expeditors customer experience (internal and external) through total ownership of and leadership of:
- Pricing and bid related requirements and tasks. This will be achieved through the leadership of the pricing team and own pricing efforts.
- Supporting product and commercial team to retain existing business and obtain new business by providing winning and timely pricing solutions and market expertise.
- Create strategic and mutually beneficial relationships for Expeditors with service providers and relevant internal stakeholders in product and geo.

Qualifications :
- University or equivalent business qualifications/experience
- Minimum 5 years Expeditors or industry experience previous experience creating pricing solutions in Air or Ocean transportation services.
- Proven work experience in business development and service provider relationships.
- Local market knowledge in transportation services
- Proven experience of leading and managing diverse teams and processes.
- Advanced level of professional English.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to perform and meet tight pricing deadlines.
- Proven problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Team player and an ability to connect.
- Preferred knowledge of Expeditors products and services.
- Preferred knowledge of required Expeditors operating systems.
