Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Embedded Software Engineering Student to join our CrossDomain Solutions Department on a FullTime basis for 12months commencing July 2025 based at our Clayton headquarters.
You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:
- Carrying out the software development which includes the design develop and implement software solutions for embedded systems.
- System Design and Architecture: You will be involved in the design and architecture of the embedded system including defining software requirements specifications and interfaces.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Embedded systems often present unique challenges and youll be responsible for debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise during the software development process.
- Integration and Testing: Youll need to integrate the software with the hardware components and peripherals of the embedded system.
- Cooperating with all project team members on all issues needed to ensure successful completion of projects on time in accordance with the project budget and to the expected quality level.
- Ensuring all development activities are performed in accordance with the companies procedures as well as relevant international standards.

Qualifications :
- Be currently enrolled in and have completed a minimum of 2 years towards an Engineering Undergraduate degree (majoring in Electronics Electrical Mechatronics or Robotics) with Software subjects.
- Knowledge of experience in Embedded Software.
- Ability in requirement engineering and cascading requirements to other areas.
- Demonstrating problem solving skills and understanding methodologies (PSS 8D).
- Understanding architecture design and modular design.
- Ability to effectively follow coding guidelines.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Software development experience.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal including a strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail be able to prioritise multiple tasks work well within a team.
- Have a strong interest in innovation and open to opportunities to combine your studies with onthejob learning.
Additional Information :
An Assessment Centre will be held early June at our Clayton headquarters for shortlisted candidates providing the opportunity to engage in group activities and a possible interview.
