Supporting the Operations FP&A team the focus of the Finance Analyst Operations is on effectively analysing reporting and providing insights on costs identifying opportunities and influencing outcomes across the operation with particular focus on Fuel Airport Charges and Safety. Having a cando attitude and the flexibility to adapt across different cost functions will be key to success in this role.
Reporting to the Finance Manager key responsibilities of this role include:
- Deliver clear and consistent reporting of financial performance including monthly results
- Measurement and tracking of cost drivers operational metrics and cost saving initiatives
- Forecast and budget preparation
- Flag risks and opportunities to enable mitigation
- Provide financial support on new cost saving initiatives with ongoing focus on unit cost improvement working closely with management
- Provide financial support for business cases and/or contract reviews including detailed financial modelling and analysis
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills qualifications and experience:
- Professional accounting qualification or currently studying (e.g. CA / CPA)
- Minimum 1 year experience providing insightful analysis through management accounting or business partnering
- Exposure to a complex and faced paced corporate environment
- Strong computerbased skills (advanced Excel PowerPoint)
