Job Description

Are you a Mechanical of Electrical engineering student recent graduate or apprentice who has practical handson experience with software mechanical and electrical design Do you love DIY building and prototyping in your spare time Ideally you are part of your universitys Formula student team or have worked on projects related to automotive motorsport or energy storage; you want to demonstrate your mechanical design skills; and want to work in a fastpaced start up environment.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fastgrowing London based startup that is creating an allnew range of battery storage systems for both commercial and consumer markets. You will be responsible for the design build and test of our energy storage systems liaising with our designers and engineers on the architecture layout.

This internship will give you a unique opportunity to join us at the beginning of our journey a business where you can contribute grow and be a success.

Qualifications :

Musthaves

  • Handson experience in mechanical electrical or automotive engineering
  • Interest in computer science and software development code in spare time
  • Experience working with electrical and mechanical components
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal support using a logical approach in an environment with minimal documented processes
  • Must be selfmotivated and an effective team player
  • Eligible to work in the UK.

Nicetohaves

  • A basic understanding of High Voltage vehicle systems and safety.
  • Experience in a Formula student team
  • Practical project experience involving soldering fabrication harnessing...
  • Excellent CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers and electrical system wiring
  • Knowledge of battery system technology including cell chemistries BMS etc.
