Job Description: Human Resources Coordinator
Reports to:HR Manager
Location: On site Tygervalley Cape Town
Job Summary:
This is a handson role focused on HR compliance risk management and audit readiness within our global People team. Reporting to the HR Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring all HR operations and policies meet legal regulatory and internal standards. The successful candidate will support the wider global HR function to maintain and improve compliance across all jurisdictions in which we operate.
You must be detailoriented proactive and confident in navigating HR compliance policies and ISO standards with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build trust across all levels of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for all HR compliance and riskrelated matters across global teams.
- Maintain and manage HR risk registers internal audit processes and ISO certification standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 27001.
- Lead on the review development and implementation of global HR policies and documentation.
- Provide guidance on legal compliance risk mitigation and audit preparation across all regions
- Conduct and support internal HR investigations in line with best practices and employment law.
- Deliver clear and timely insights to senior leaders on compliance status risks and actions.
- Ensure all HR processes are auditready consistently reviewed and continuously improved.
- Support the development and rollout of internal controls training and communications to ensure compliance awareness and adherence across the organisation.
Essential:
- Previous experience in HR compliance audit or legal risk management.
- Sound understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Knowledge and experience working with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 27001 standards.
- Excellent organisational skills and a methodical detailfocused approach.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- High level of integrity discretion and professionalism.
Desirable:
- Previous experience supporting internal or external HR audits.
- Experience working within a global HR team or fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
- HR or compliancerelated qualification.
