POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of building systems healthcare infrastructure energy management and facility design.
Compliance Knowledge: Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations accreditation standards (e.g. Joint Commission) and safety protocols.
ProblemSolving: Ability to quickly identify and address infrastructure problems that may impact the safety and efficiency of healthcare services.
Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with both technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders including executives and clinical staff.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Understand and deliver requirements related to The Joint Commission CMS and/or other authorities having jurisdiction
Perform safety audits and other physical environment audits as required
Monitor adherence to the Safety Program
Partner with sitelevel Environment of Care/Safety Committees and Facility leadership
Seek and make recommendations related to opportunities for improvement
Keep organized records
Monitor work performance of subcontractors
