Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Automation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience leading the design and implementation of UI & API Automation frameworks and strategies for complex multitiered web applications.
Key Responsibilities
Handson technical contributor as well as leading scrumbased teams driving Automation delivery and Strategy. Ensuring robust and scalable automation solutions that enhance the quality and efficiency of our software development lifecycle.
Framework Design and Development:
Lead the design and development of scalable and maintainable UI & API Automation frameworks.
Evaluate and implement automation tools and technologies that align with the companys goals and technical infrastructure.
Automation Strategy:
Develop and oversee the of the UI & API Automation strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives and agile practices.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline and enhance test coverage.
Develop and implement Automation AI Strategy to incorporate AI tools to increase efficiency and speed of automation authoring.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to automation engineers and QA team members.
Drive best practices and standards for UI automation including coding standards design patterns and test data management.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the quality and reliability of automated tests by implementing robust validation and verification processes.
Continuously assess and improve the automation processes to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with development QA and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into testable scenarios.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders to communicate automation progress challenges and solutions.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in UI automation and testing.
Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance automation capabilities and address emerging challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Proven experience in software testing and automation with a focus on UI automation.
Strong knowledge of UI automation frameworks such as Playwright Robot Framework Selenium Cypress.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages preferably JavaScript React NodeJS Java Python.
Proficiency in API automation REST GraphQL Postman and mocking solutions
Thorough knowledge on Web Application Architectures
Exposure to latest Gen AI tools
Proficient in Data Testing
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g. Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps).
Excellent problemsolving analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
Experience with cloudbased testing solutions and environments.
Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices and tools (e.g. Cucumber SpecFlow.
Knowledge of E2E Functional Performance and Security testing concepts.
