Brukers Semiconductor Division is the leader in automated atomic force microscopy (AAFM) and advanced Xray metrology and defect inspection tools for the silicon and compound semiconductor industries. The division offers the most comprehensive portfolio tools based on Xray technologies including XRR (Xray reflectometry) XRF (Xray fluorescence) XRD (Xray diffraction) XRDI (Xray diffraction imaging) and others. The Xray business unit is based in Migdal HaEmek Israel with facilities in Durham UK Karlsruhe Germany and support offices and sales representatives worldwide. We have an open position for a Software Tester in Durham UK.

In this role you will be responsible for the testing process end to end (defining creating executing documenting results tracking issues over time etc. for Xray metrology tools and applications developed by the software group.

You will also be responsible for maintaining all test cases and test documents (STP STR etc) using relevant methodologies and tools as required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS INCLUDE:

• Execute manual testing for newly released software components
• Execute testing in all required levels (sanity regression system performance etc. for new software releases
• Participate in technical requirements and design reviews provide feedback from a testing point of view
• Work closely with software engineers in the resolution of problems
• Define new tests and update existing ones to meet the requirements
• Execute automated testing
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and assist in pinpointing issues

• Highly skilled Manual Software Tester with over two years of experience in manual testing.
• Solid working knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing lifecycle including relevant documentation
• Handson experience in software testing of largescale systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with industry standard tools such as: TFS Office.
• Good problemsolving skills.
• Out of the box thinker.
