Urgent Hiring from Sri Lanka
Accountant
- Location: Doha Qatar
- Position: Permanent FullTime
Our client a leading Engineering Consultant in Doha Qatar seeks a detailoriented Accountant to join their finance team. You will maintain accurate financial records prepare reports and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records including transactions journal entries and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements (balance sheets income statements cash flow).
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting forecasting and cost analysis.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with Qatars tax laws and IFRS.
- Analyze financial data to identify costsaving opportunities.
- Prepare and file tax returns.
- Provide financial insights to support organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA CMA) preferred.
- 35 years of accounting experience ideally in engineering consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles IFRS and Qatars tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel.
- Detailoriented analytical and organized.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
