Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detailoriented professional to join our team as a Senior Forensics Data Analytics Consultant. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in handling and analyzing large datasets uncovering patterns and supporting forensic investigations through datadriven insights.
As a Senior Consultant you will play a key role in managing forensic data analytics projects leveraging advanced analytical techniques to identify irregularities detect fraud and support investigative efforts. You will work with crossfunctional teams providing expertise in data extraction transformation and visualization while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of forensic findings. This role requires technical proficiency problemsolving capabilities and leadership skills to manage deliverables and guide junior team members effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead forensic data analytics projects ensuring highquality deliverables within set timelines.
- Manage and mentor junior team members providing guidance on technical and analytical methodologies.
- Design execute and optimize SQL queries to extract transform and analyze large datasets from various sources.
- Develop advanced data models and metrics to uncover fraud risks anomalies and suspicious patterns.
- Oversee and conduct complex financial statistical and forensic analyses including due diligence litigation support and investigative assignments.
- Leverage forensic data analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx Tableau Power BI Python R) to support fraud investigations and compliance reviews.
- Ensure data integrity and governance implementing best practices in data handling transformation and reporting.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including legal compliance and risk management to drive strategic insights.
- Present findings to senior leadership and clients translating datadriven insights into actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of forensic methodologies frameworks and automation solutions for improved efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal regulatory and ethical standards in forensic investigations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Data Analytics Artificial Intelligence Forensics Statistics or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
- Strong understanding of advanced analytics techniques including predictive modeling machine learning and statistical analysis.
- Proven experience with data governance data management and data integration practices.
- Ability to manage large datasets and complex data models.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics data science forensic investigations or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading projects and managing teams in a consulting or corporate setting.
- Strong expertise in SQL Python R and ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx Tableau Prep).
- Strong command of DAX and Power Query (M).
- Proficiency in BI & data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) and experience with data storytelling.
- Experience in fraud detection forensic accounting or financial analysis is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and criticalthinking skills with the ability to work in highpressure environments.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills including the ability to present technical findings to a nontechnical audience.
- Certifications in fraud forensics or analytics (e.g. CFE CFA CMA Tableau Certified Professional Power BI Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
- Consulting experience is preferred.
