JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission Online Degree Completion is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and counseling of prospective students for Simmons Universitys Online Degree Completion Program. This role focuses on engaging adult learners and transfer students managing the admission process and developing outreach strategies to support enrollment growth. The Assistant Director will work closely with advising faculty the registrars office and other university stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition for online students.
This position requires strategic recruitment planning travel to community colleges and educational fairs and virtual engagement through webinars and digital outreach. The Assistant Director is expected to demonstrate strong analytical skills a deep understanding of the transfer admission process and a commitment to supporting nontraditional students.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate on the University Transfer Student Success Team.
Train professional and student staff on adult and transferrelated topics.
May also have duties related to the recruitment of adult and transfer students seeking in person (on the ground) education.
May also oversee other projects within the Office of Undergraduate Admission related to recruitment and travel events community outreach liaison to other departments on campus and/or other projects as assigned.
Support universitywide initiatives related to enrollment and student success.
Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelors degree required.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in higher education admissions enrollment management or a related field with a focus on online transfer or adult learners. Other types of possible work experiences could include other areas in higher education graduate admission transfer advising transfer credit evaluation high school counseling sales or a profession that is heavily customer service oriented.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with CRM systems databases and virtual communication tools.
Ability to analyze data and develop strategic recruitment plans.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity equity and inclusion in higher education.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in Higher Education Administration Counseling or a related field.
Experience in transfer credit evaluation and articulation agreements.
Familiarity with online learning platforms and student engagement strategies.
Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Remote Eligibility: Hybrid (with required travel).
Work Schedule: Fulltime 12month position 40 hours per week; occasional evening and weekend work required for recruitment events.
Travel Requirements: Scheduled travel to community colleges education fairs and industry conferences; some limited overnight travel may be required.
Physical Demands: Primarily a sedentary role with some standing and walking required for recruitment events.
