Major Partnerships is part of a broader Engagement and Advancement group within the Community External Relations and Partnership Portfolio. Engagement and Advancement assists the University to deliver educational programs of excellence by building a community of loyal committed and engaged alumni donors and partners.
The Major Partnerships team is responsible for developing managing and lifecycle management of VUs strategic partnerships alliances and collaborations. Partnering with Principle is a key ethos of the VU approach and our partners demonstrate the values and principles aligned with VUs vision and strategic objectives with a focus on impact and value including the Western Bulldogs Football Club and in particular as a key partner in growing the AFWL Headspace and Orygen Western Health Melbourne Airport Greater Western Water and Western Chances to name a few.
About the Role:
The overall purpose of the Partnerships Coordinator is to account manage a portfolio of partners within the Victoria University Major Partnership Portfolio. To ensure that the activity with partners is leveraged across the University and to nurture partnerships and collaborate with relevant colleagues across VU to realise value and impact for Victoria University.
The primary role of the Partnerships Coordinator is to manage a portfolio of partners within VUs Major Partnership Portfolio. This includes maximizing the value of partnership activities across the University and fostering strong relationships through collaboration with colleagues across the University to deliver meaningful impact for VU.
This are 3X full time position (one continuing and two fixed term positions) at an HEP 7 classification with the salary range being $97863 $105932 plus 17 superannuation working 36.75 1.0 FTE) hours per week.
This role is a mix of stakeholder engagement partnership management and requires strategic foresight. Some of the roles accountabilities include:
About you:
Were looking for a natural connectorsomeone who enjoys engaging with a range of stakeholders and can have meaningful conversations about partnerships that drive value and impact.
Youll also need excellent organizational skills the ability to manage competing priorities and the agility to think on your feet with a solutionfocused mindset.
Collaboration is key to success in this role. Youll work to support diverse functions internally including Colleges Research Institutes Marketing and Future Students Graduate outcome and the Office of the ViceChancellor. This requires you to be proactive in aligning stakeholders keeping partnership on track and ensuring our engagement processes are efficient scalable and impactful.
