What youll be working on:
General HR Support & Employee Experience
- In partnership with People Experience Partner manage the endtoend employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure policy adherence.
- Support People Support team initiatives including building a centralized knowledge base and policy repository.
- Design and implement scalable HR policies programs and initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational priorities.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and workforce planning.
HRIS & People Analytics
- Optimize UKG Pro for data accuracy reporting and workflow automation.
- Use data to track key HR metrics (e.g. headcount turnover) and support strategic planning.
- Create and maintain HR dashboards that provide actionable insights to leadership.
Benefits & Compliance Management
- Administer employee benefits programs (health dental vision life disability) ensuring compliance with ACA COBRA and other regulations.
- Lead annual Open Enrollment and manage benefit changes enrollments and terminations.
- Oversee leave of absence processes in partnership with TILT.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws through policy updates risk mitigation strategies and audits.
- Manage state disability documents.
- Provide expert guidance on complex compliance matters to leadership.
HR Service Delivery & Process Improvement
- Lead efforts to streamline and automate HR processes for greater efficiency.
- Develop and maintain internal process documentation and selfservice resources.
- Oversee the HR Service Delivery System (HRSD) to ensure timely effective support for team members.
- Monitor HRSD ticket trends to inform leadership and improve service delivery.
Payroll & Workers Compensation
- Partner with payroll to ensure timely accurate processing and regulatory compliance.
- Administer the companys workers compensation program in coordination with The Hartford.
Immigration
- Manage the full lifecycle of immigration processes including visa applications and green card petitions.
- Provide guidance to managers and team members on immigration policy compliance and trends.
Why youd be a great fit:
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources and HR compliance
- Experience in payroll support benefit management or people operations is a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of HR best practices policies and procedures
- Preferred experience in healthcare or veterinary care
- PHR certification or SHRM preferred
- Operate with high emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills
- Enthusiasm for solutionoriented thinking

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency UKG Pro and Google Suite is a plus

Role Requirements:
- Hybrid role: 3 days inoffice (Culver City CA) and 2 days remote
- Based in Los Angeles CA
- Ability to travel up to 10 to various clinic locations (currently SF TX AZ and CO with future growth expected)

The pay range for this position is $93000 $119000 per year; however base pay offered may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. A signon bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
