Overview
Department: Ultrasound
Schedule: PRN Per Diem Varied Shifts
Facility: Prime Healthcare St Marys Hospital
Location: Kankakee IL 60901

Know Your Rights: Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
Qualifications
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
1. Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Program or current certificate.
2. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in Physics SPI and 1 Specialty exam AB BR FE OB/GYN or PS to be completed within one 1 year of hire and maintained throughout employment.
3. Previous experience preferred.
4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
5. Proficient computer skills.
St. Marys Hospital Kankakee offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40.39. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
