Job Description

Position: Interventional Radiology(IR) Technologist

Start Date: 8/4/2025

Duration: 4 weeks

Location: Robbinsdale MN 55422

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Varied 8

Shift Notes: Days and Evenings/40-Hour Guarantee

Weekend Requirements: Weekends by Department Rotation

On-Call Requirements: Off-Premise Call

COVID-19/FLU Requirement: na

Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 35-mile radius restriction)

Dress Code: Hospital-Provided Scrubs

EMR: Epic

Further Specifics:

  • Clinicians MUST list prior work history on their resume
  • MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting is required for ALL patient-facing positions
  • Client has a strict compliance deadline of 4 pm on the Wednesday before start - there will be no exceptions.

The Interventional Radiology Tech performs imaging procedures efficiently and safely. Customers may include neonates infants children adolescents adults or geriatric.

Accountabilities:
  • Performs imaging exams and procedures accurately. Applies critical thinking skills appropriately.
  • Recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.
  • Maintains accurate customer medical records. Ensures confidentiality of all medical records.
  • Utilizes Imaging and hospital computer systems correctly.
  • Interacts with physicians team members customers and families in a professional manner.
  • Has access to medications appropriate to their job duties.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
  • The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency in the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
  • The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency including improvement where deemed necessary and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
Submission Requirements
  • 1 Years of IR Tech Experience - Required
  • Travel Experience - Required
  • Philips Azurion Experience - Preferred
  • Experience with All Patient Populations - Required
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) and ARRT - Required
  • Trauma Level I Experience - Required

Profile Requirements:

  • Work history
  • Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
  • 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
  • Certifications
  • If a candidate is not eligible to work in the USA it must be noted on their profile
  • ALL RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; the Client may not honor RTO requests after submittal
