Location: U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters Douglas A. Munro Headquarters Building 2703 Martin Luther
King Jr. Ave. SE; Washington DC).
Clearance: Favorable Background Investigation
The Project Manager will be Responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to closure ensuring that they are delivered on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Developing managing and maintaining comprehensive project plans schedules and budgets that meet the requirements of TMXPIO stakeholders.
Coordinating and leading crossfunctional project teams to ensure successful project including setting goals objectives and priorities.
Identifying assessing and mitigating project risks and developing and implementing effective contingency plans to minimize potential impacts.
Monitoring and reporting project progress to TMXPIO stakeholders on a regular basis including providing timely and accurate updates on project status issues and changes
Ensuring compliance with established project management methodologies standards and best practices including those related to quality safety and environmental management.
Communicating project status issues and changes to TMXPIO stakeholders in a clear concise and timely manner including providing recommendations for corrective action as needed.
Developing maintaining and storing project documentation including project plans status reports lessons learned and other relevant records in accordance with TMXPIOs document management policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Min 5 years of experience
The candidate shall possess experience in project management excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
