Job Description

Start your journey with Blue Compass RV as we are looking foran RV Inventory Assistant to join our team.

THE ROLE: The RV Inventory Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of recreational vehicle (RV) inventory assisting with the organization and tracking of vehicles and ensuring that all inventory data is uptodate and properly documented. This role requires attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Assist in the daily tracking and monitoring of RV inventory levels.
  • Input new inventory data into the system including vehicle details specifications and condition.
  • Regularly update the inventory management system with sales acquisitions and transfers.
  • Conduct routine inspections of RVs to ensure they meet company standards for quality and readiness.
  • Document any damages maintenance needs or discrepancies and report them to the Inventory Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of all RVs in the inventory including purchase orders sales records and titles.
  • Assist with the preparation of inventory reports for management review.
  • Work closely with the sales service and finance departments to ensure smooth inventory operations.
  • Coordinate with the transportation team to manage the movement of RVs in and out of the facility.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding RV inventory availability and specifications.
  • Provide support during RV showings including preparing vehicles and answering questions.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associates degree in business administration or a related field ispreferred.
  • Previous experience in inventory management automotive or RV industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and inventory management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor environment with exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand walk and inspect RVs for extended periods.
