Principal accountabilities
1LeanStrategy Deployment
AlignLeaninitiatives with the organizations strategic goals and objectives
Support policy deployment to ensure priorities are well communicated and executed.
2Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)
DriveKaizen eventsand problemsolving workshops to eliminate waste and improve processes.
StandardizeKaizen methodologyacross the organization.
Support and coach teams in usingLeantools such asPDCA A3 Thinking 5S Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Root Cause Analysis.
3Training & Capability Building
Develop and deliverLeantraining programsto employees at all levels.
Coach frontline teams and managers inLeanprinciplesLeanleadership and structured problemsolving.
FacilitateTraining Within Industry (TWI) programsto enhance operational skills.
4LeanDaily Management System
Establish and sustainLeandaily management routines(e.g. SQDC meetings visual boards).
Monitor and support the effectiveness ofLeader Standard Work (LSW).
Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are reviewed regularly and drive corrective actions.
5Performance Monitoring & PC (Process confirmation)
ConductLeanmaturity assessments and process confirmations to ensure adherence toLeanprinciples.
Track the impact ofLeaninitiatives through datadriven performance reviews.
Analyse and report operational performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
6CrossFunctional Collaboration
Act as a bridge between departments to ensureLeanprinciples are integrated into daily operations.
Work closely withOperations MaintenanceHSSEand all support functions to sustain improvements.
Support theLeannetwork by collaborating with other terminals/HQ and sharing best practices.
7 Leadership & Change Management
Spread a culture ofcontinuous improvement and employee engagement.
Influence and coach leaders to ensureLeanthinking.
Address resistance to change and ensure sustainability ofLeaninitiatives.
