Position Summary:
St. Bartholomew Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging handson learning environment that fosters curiosity critical thinking and a love for science. Responsibilities include designing and delivering science curriculum assessing student progress and integrating faithbased values into instruction.
Responsibilities:
Teach middle school science for grades 6th8th
Create engaging and rigorous lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
Foster a positive classroom environment that supports student learning and moral development
Collaborate with colleagues parents and administration to support student success
Participate in school events professional development and faithbased activities
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field
Valid teaching certification (or working towards certification)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the school
Previous middle school teaching experience preferred
