Position: Recreation Administrative Assistant (PartTime)
Department: Parks and Recreation
Wage: $16.00
Status: NonExempt PartTime

Work schedule: Monday through Thursday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm plus weeknights and weekends as mutually agreed upon.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Recreation Superintendent performs a wide variety of general administrative and technical duties as needed to coordinate the daytoday operation of the Recreation Center. This is a Limited PartTime position usually working an average of 20 hours or less per week on an annual basis.
May provide training and general supervision to various parttime seasonal and volunteer personnel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk stand sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger handle feel or operate objects tools such as a computer or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Sufficient vision hearing and stamina are required to perform the above functions. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee works indoors in an office environment but may be exposed to outside weather conditions on occasion. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions fumes toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office or moderately noisy when in the field.
