Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K12 as well as transition age students 1822 years old) from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Position Details:
- Local 2209 Salary Schedule A:$35.68 $65.78 per hour(depending on experience and education)
- This is a temporary position for Summer ESY only
- Hours will follow a flexible calendar based on individual student and district needs
Requirements:
- Interested in candidates who are: diverse bilingual or have experience working with diverse populations
- Bachelors degree in orientation and mobility from an accredited college or university
- Masters degree in orientation and mobility is preferred
- Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Education in orientation and mobility
- An additional license in vision impairment is preferred
- National Certification from Association for Education and Rehabilitation of Blind/Visually Impaired (AER)
- Valid Minnesota drivers license is required
