Benefits To You
We pay 95 to 99 of medical insurance premiums for fulltime employees including mental health coverage.

OJD will pay you a 5 allowance for bilingual skills (includes ASL) if you can pass a skills test and are assigned to use those skills on the job.
In this job profile we offer candidates new to OJD up to the second step of the salary range depending on experience. You are potentially eligible for a 5 annual increase.
Position Highlights
The Linn County Circuit Court in Albany Oregon is hiring a Court Operations Specialist.
In this role you will help parties attorneys and agencies use the court system. You will answer questions about case processing dockets scheduling the court calendar and the status of cases. You will explain court procedures to attorneys litigants and the public. You will help court customers use our public computer terminals. You will also answer general questions about civil cases. The support you provide will be in person at the service counter over the phone and in writing.
Additionally you will perform data entry case management and records management. You will enter and track a variety of cases including Forcible Entry Detainer cases other landlordtenant cases and civil cases. You will review files to determine next steps enter data into our case tracking system and route files as needed. You will accept and record documents check the documents for accuracy and completeness and process orders judgments decrees and reports.
Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
AND
Four 4 years of responsible administrative experience in a moderately complex office or business setting demonstrating the knowledge skills and abilities needed for this position.
OR
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to four 4 years of experience that typically supports the knowledge skills and abilities for the position.

Experience performing a variety of clerical or administrative support tasks with strict deadlines in a busy business or professional setting.

Working Conditions
This is a fulltime position and the work schedule is currently 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek.
Occasional afterhours or overtime work may be required.
This position performs a high volume of data entry and there are frequent interruptions.
There is a heavy volume of customer interaction.
Frequent phone and inperson contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Frequent phone and inperson contact with people who may be facing challenging life circumstances highly stressful situations or trauma.
Long periods of sitting or standing.
Regular use of the following equipment: telephone OJDassigned computer with multiple monitors copy machine fax machine and scanner.
