Job Description
Director of Religious Education
St. Jerome Parish in Kenner LA is looking for a full or part time Director of Religious Education starting in June or July of 2025.
Applicants should speak English and Spanish and have a college degree in Catholic theology Catholic religious education or education or a related field. They should also have substantial training and/or experience in Catholic catechetics or Catholic youth ministry leadership. They should be excellent leaders as well as being flexible and well organized.
Full time 40 hours)
Salary range $33000 $45000 depending on education training and experience.
Part time salary depends on hours per week.
Responsibilities depending on hours worked include overseeing religious education for grades 112 and organizing First Communion and Confirmation celebrations and OCIA for children and teens.
