Work Schedule:

Part time 80 FTE day/evening shift. Monday Friday rotating start times between 6:30am 9:00am working 8hour shifts. Weekday and Weekend OnCall required. Weekday OnCall is between the hours of 5:30pm 7:00am. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic.

We are seeking Endoscopy Technician to:

  • Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures assisting providers during endoscopy including biopsy specimen collection and polypectomy.
  • Restocking of procedure room supplies and monitoring of supply PAR levels.
  • Troubleshooting of all specialty equipment.
  • Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment.

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN MA Advanced Nursing Assistant)

Work Experience:

Preferred

  • One year of experience in a clinical setting (or)
  • One year of experience assisting in GI or Pulmonary Medical Procedures Basic Cardiac Monitoring Experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum BLS/CPR certification

Required Skills Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of communication techniques teamwork customer service standards and quality improvement.
  • Knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment.
