Sign-On Bonus:
$15000
$15000
Salary Range:
- Without National Certification: $52041.60 $71557.20
- With National Certification: $57241.60 $78707.20
(Salary may be negotiable for candidates with significant CVOR specialty experience.)
National Certification Options:
- NCCT
- AST
- NBSTSA
Schedule:
- Primarily day shift
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
- On-call obligation required
Minimum Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009)
- Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
- Must have Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to scrub for procedures across all patient populations: neonate pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric
- Independent functioning within established protocols
- Competence in performing unit tasks as directed by the RN
- Strong judgment tact diplomacy and adherence to patient confidentiality
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
Special Requirements:
- BCLS Certification
- Certification by an approved body (e.g. NBSTSA - CST or NCCT - TS-C)
