Position Summary Bancroft School seeks an Upper School World Language Teacher to join our talented team of educators beginning August 2025. This position will teach Spanish from introductory to advanced levels. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues across languages and disciplines and be an integral member of the allschool World Language department. Experience in and enthusiasm for proficiencybased acquisitiondriven world language instruction are important for the candidate to participate in the continued growth and innovation of the department. Candidates must also believe in every students capacity for learning and critical thinking especially regarding inquiry and challenge for our students. Candidates must also be able to effectively collaborate and coordinate communications with students parents staff and other school community
- Bachelors degree in Spanish or related education field (Masters preferred)
- Three to five years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience in and enthusiasm for implementing inquirybased learning
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction
- Familiarity with best practices for equitable teaching and learning environments
