A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to support its payroll department with endtoend processing and financial accuracy across multiple regions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with international payroll expertise and a deep understanding of accounting principles to step into a dynamic highimpact role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing payroll journals processing salary statements maintaining payrollrelated accounts ensuring compliance with tax and labour regulations and reconciling accounts with precision. With a strong focus on payroll audits and regular reporting this role plays a crucial part in financial transparency and employee satisfaction.
Key requirements for the role include:
- A Degree or Diploma (NQF Level 6 or 7 in Accounting Business Administration HR Management or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience including:
- At least 3 years in accounting with a focus on payroll and accounts payable
- At least 3 years managing multiple and international payrolls
- Indepth knowledge of payroll systems accounting principles and incountry payroll regulations
- Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills
- Accuracy in salary calculations reconciliations and tax submissions
- Experience preparing detailed reports for both internal and statutory use
