Job description
DBA Construction Inc. is now hiring for a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various Heavy equipment/trucks and vehicle systems.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect/repair brake systems steering mechanisms transmissions engines and other parts of trucks.
- Repair experience with various CAT earthmoving and other related heavy equipment
- Use different tools and equipment such as pressure gauges pneumatic wrenches welding equipment screwdrivers hoists jacks to repair trucks while constantly utilizing safety procedures.
- Perform routine heavy equipment maintenance such as changing oil checking batteries and lubricating equipment and parts.
- Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devices such as motor analyzers handheld computers to determine how to address problems.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Heavy diesel/truck mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detailoriented
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
