Job Description
The CNC Press Operator will serve our Water Heating Division located in Montgomery AL
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate a computer numerical control press.
- Read and understand the operator setup sheet for proper tooling.
- Must be able to identify and load correct program from storage.
- Must be able to replace dull or broken tooling as required.
- Must be able to check own work for conformance to specifications.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Observe all departmental safety requirements.
- Maintain quality standards according to specifications.
- Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship.
- Work from written or verbal orders.
- Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers.
- May be exposed to high noise levels.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Must be able to add subtract divide and multiply fractions and decimals.
- The following skills will be tested: Math Blueprint.
- Continuous lifting of 15 lbs.
- Frequent lifting of 5 25 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of 2560 lbs.
- Must be able to stand walk and/or lift repetitively during shift.
