Job Description
Job title: Process Operator III
Location: Jacksonville Florida 32206
Duration: 6 months
Shift timing: 1st shift - 7 am - 3 pm
Description:
- We are seeking a reliable detail-oriented individual to support reverse osmosis membrane handling operations in a plant environment.
- This entry-level role is responsible for uncrating logging cleaning testing and repacking membranes following standardized procedures and safety protocols.
- The position works under close supervision and is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Core Responsibilities:
- Handle reverse osmosis membranes including uncrating logging for inventory tracking cleaning testing and repacking
- Follow all workplace safety and product quality policies and procedures
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality throughout the shift
- Read and follow documented work processes and instructions accurately
- Support internal and external customer needs through timely and quality work
- Contribute to overall team and plant performance metrics
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Completion of site-specific safety and operational training
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
- Familiarity with inventory tracking or data entry systems
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit stand see and hear consistently throughout the shift
- Must be able to walk write and type frequently
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs and perform occasional bending reaching and pulling
- Must be able to work in environments with temperatures ranging from 0 F to 120 F
- May be required to wear hearing protection and other PPE as needed
- Must be able to operate a computer and communicate effectively via phone and email
- May be exposed to dust dirt and concrete flooring
