Job Description
Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 35 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a fulltime Medical Assistant to work at our West Chester PA office.
Please note this role is entitled to a $500 signon bonus.*
Responsibilities
- Work with an assigned physician daily
- Escort patients to the exam room
- Record medical information review medications and obtain vital signs
- Perform stress testing and EKGs
- Follow up on lab results
- Answer phones and assist with checkin/out procedures if necessary
- Assist with appointment scheduling.
- Review and prepare the next days assignments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant
- BLS required
- Must have at least 23 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Familiarity with various cardiologyrelated procedures such as stress tests managing Coumadin therapy and Holter monitors are a plus
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Experience with an EMR system is a plus
- Must be wellspoken friendly and outgoing

*If you are hired and assuming your employment is in good standing you will receive the signon bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire you will be required to repay the full amount of your signon bonus.
